I trained as an accountant in the 1980's after joining the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Having held senior Finance and General Management positions in the Manufacturing and Financial Services Sector I've picked up a wealth of knowledge about what makes businesses tick and the challenges business owners face.

 

In 2015 I left my position as Managing Director of an engineering company in the Scottish Borders to set up a management consultancy business and provide advice to the next generation of business professionals and entrepreneurs.
